Worth Noting
- @linmob@linuxmobile.social: In case you're wondering why I did not post the Weekly #MobileLinux Update last night: I just fell asleep while editing. Today, I don't have the time for it, either - so it'll be out tomorrow or, alternatively, merged with the one for next week. #LinuxMobile
- allpurposemat: jajajaja nice, no way it worksI present video streaming for scrcpy from #NuraEco, by emulating just barely enough of both the ADB protocol and the scrcpy protocol. The video stream is laggy and delayed. Everything is using software encoding. but IT WORKS, and I can iterate on fixing the issues now :)
- Purism community: "This device needs to be reencrypted"
- UndeadLeech: TIL: I've been wondering for a while how to best setup systemd services to autostart without install scripts on #arch. Thanks to some help in the #nura IRC, I then found out about systemd presets (/usr/lib/systemd/system-preset/).TL;DR: Seems like these presets allow defining whether systemd services should be enabled or disabled by default, which allowed me to create a
systemd-mobile-presetpackage for my Fairphone 5 images to make things like GPS work out of the box.#linuxmobile - Lemmy.ml - linuxphones: Nura KDE on Pixel 3a XL - two months in

- nura: The amazing photos that Katja de Waart took at our shared conference with @alpinelinux are now online! 📸We have two group pictures and many additional photos that were taken (after asking everyone in the frame, our photo policy) during talks and discussion sessions.https://nextcloud.postmarketos.org/s/t6jXwTAB7qfw9tm(Video recordings are still being edited, will be published as well when ready.)#postmarketOSandAlpineLinuxConference2026 #NuraEco #alpinelinux
- dos: #Linux 7.3 is out. The #Librem5 tree is in a good shape already - it will likely show up in #PureOS soon and be made the default once its LTS status is confirmed.155 files changed, 36899 insertions(+), 1675 deletions(-)but excluding a couple of downstream drivers that add a lot of noise:88 files changed, 3222 insertions(+), 261 deletions(-)Since the beginning of the year we were able to shed about 1000 line insertions and 150 deletions 🎉#mobilelinux #linuxmobile #kernel #linuxphone

- Phosh (gotosocial): 1️⃣️2️⃣️3️⃣️4️⃣️. By popular demand Phosh can now automatically submit the unlock PIN, so you can skip the submit button. The length is stored in systemd-homed's user record and can be updated it via phosh-pin-tool until the GUI for PIN changing is in place. You can use the on-screen keyboard to unlock with arbitrary length should that ever get out of sync. If you want to help with the remaining GUI bits let us know. The initial phrog unlock after boot doesn't know about this yet so remember to hit submit there 🙃️. #LinuxMobile #Phosh #systemd #phrog

It is a great device, looks cool and also comes with working android app support. However, one detail is very disappointing: I cannot synchronize contacts with Outlook. It just does not work.Unfortunately this makes the whole phone useless for me in daily business. It's a software problem, so it could be fixed. But as my old phone is already broken, I need a working solution fast ... so let's buy another piece of android shit 😢 😿
