Weekly GNU-like Mobile Linux Update (04/2024): Ubuntu Touch OTA 4 + FOSDEM preparations
Table of Contents
With FOSDEM 2024 approaching, let's have another roundup: Ubuntu Touch 20.04 OTA 4, gmobile 0.0.5, an update on progress in Nemo Mobile (plus a Qt6-based image to try out), a healthy "Worth Reading" section, another episode of the postmarketOS podcast and sadly not much of a video section.
Also, one ask: Please part-take in this pseudo-survey - thank you!
Commentary in italics.

- Guido Günther: I finally resumed work on the MR that allows for a non solid background in #phosh's overview. There still some lose ends, but it's progressing:
- Phosh (Mastodon): We've tagged version 0.0.5 of gmobile (a small library for glib based mobile Linux projects). Among other changes it adds support for the #FairPhone5's notch and updates the #FairPhone4's information. This will help #phosh to handle UI element placement for these devices automatically. Thanks @awai , @z3ntu and Jan Beich for the contributions.See https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/gmobile/-/releases/v0.0.5 for details
