- fredldotme: "I'm sad to say that I am in need of financial support again. My weekly work hours at my day job will be reduced soon, leaving me with less money than I already have, and I am looking for a second job and a few helping hands. If you have enjoyed my work on Ubuntu Touch over the years, please consider donating via PayPal or Liberapay. I only hope for donations for the short term, long term I want to be able to stand on my own again. Links over at https://fredl.me"

It's now part of the regular set of specifications, and we can make edits, of course.Right now, it is very historically interesting, but hopefully it will be practical in future too and receive some modernization! You can read the current HTML spec of FHS 3.0 at:https://specifications.freedesktop.org/fhs/latest/#freedesktop #linux #unix #linuxfoundation"

- phosh: Apart from under the hood changes to brightness and auto-brighness in #Phosh that landed for 0.51 there's also now an indication when auto brightness is active and @arunmani added a toggle to settings so you can quickly turn it on and off. When auto-brightness is on the slider now also acts as offset to the calculated value. We have some more tweaks scheduled but that likely will happen in the 0.52 cycle.#LinuxMobile

- #UbuntuTouch: Alfred knows UT from all sides and presented a very nice overview of the system, how we got here, what it consists of and how to develop applications for it, I hope he will come to the Czech Republic again next year. There are still many things that can be explained to interested people, for example, the development of the operating system, the development of user applications, the porting process or installation in more detail, thank you for the nice presentation!#ubuntutouch #linuxmobile

- fossapps: " I was not completely satisfied with the results. I think this is the definitive version — at least unless the original developer decides to add more content. Here’s what I’ve added to the game:Pull-down menu: A high-contrast, minimalist black & white menu with a clean font. From here, you can easily start the game, toggle shaders and other options, or exit.Keep reading in the next post for more details!"
- fossapps: The following builds are available to install. The latest update is "Sienna" which now features a pull menu with access to most game options and can be pulled any time during gameplay.
