The results of the users choice are set in the modem via a small daemon based on information we're getting from mobile-broadband-provider-info. That way only the tiny UI bit is DE specific, the other bits can be reused on other platforms as is. @devrtz is working on adding persistent storage to keep a message history. Thanks to @NGIZero for supporting this and @snwh for the UI design."

- #sailfishOS: @khm there are ports to mobile linux like whisperfish (in rust, no less) on #Sailfishos which I use. But, frankly, most people use whatthefucksapp or telegram. I use the latter since whatthefucksapp is even more difficult to port than a signal app. As for trust and secrecy, what a fetish!

- schmiddionmobile: "Versions 2.2.3 and 2.3.0 of Pipeline was released. Pipeline now hides videos which require payment by default. If you are using an external video player, you can spawn it again by clicking the thumbnail of the video instead of going back to the feed and clicking the video again. Startup performance of Pipeline also has been significantly improved. Those releases also fix quite a few bugs. For details about those, consult the changelog: https://gitlab.com/schmiddi-on-mobile/pipeline/-/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md."

Thanks
Huge thanks to Plata for the nifty set of Python scripts that speed up collecting links from feeds by a lot.
Something missing? Want to contribute?
If your project's cool story (or your awesome video or nifty blog post or ...) is missing and you don't want that to happen again, please just put it into the hedgedoc pad for the next one! Since I am collecting many things there, this get's you early access if you will ;-) If you just stumble on a thing, please put it in there too - all help is appreciated!
If you can imagine to put this collection together (it's mostly deleting irrelevant stuff, after scripts have collected it - the script part may sound harder than it is, it's a press of a button and a bit of waiting), please get in touch via email (see below)! It would really help to have someone else taking on the responsibility for this collection every once in a while!
