  • IDEA: DocumentViewer for A910 / Rokr E2

  • Mount jffs2 codegroups (CG35, CG36) on your PC

I just write this how to, as it was quite hard to find an explanation for this.

  • Plans for further A910 development

I don't have too much time, no. But I want the A910 to become popular (as it is quite cheap and does well as a Linux WiFi phone now), this is why I decided yesterday that I will try to spend some time at A910 “testing” firmware every week and rollout a weekly release on Wednesday. Why Wednesday? It's just the best day, I guess—of course I will not create that firmware on Wednesday, but while the weekend—it shouldn't be to hard to have a working version on Wednesday.

  • A910: Success!

WiFi can be used to surf the internet now, as I finally managed to build a A910i based firmware. I'll release it, but as I plan to integrate some useful E2-Apps, I won't do that now—r1 is send to some beta testers ;)

  • Extraction didn't work..

  • Get a shell on A910(i)

I am writing this howto as "SBF Backup" seems to have failed. This tutorial explains how to get a shell right on your phone. If you want to get a shell on your phone while it is connected to your computer, have a look at this explanations at openezx.org.

  • A910 will be able to use Wifi to surf the internet in approximately 8 weeks

... and this is a pessimistic approximation.
